We believe as declared in Hebrews 13:8:“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”
While He walked this earth He healed the sick, cast out demons and performed many miracles. We believe He is the same today and still does these things. We pray with that understanding and in the powerful name of Jesus.
We believe according to Isaiah 53:4-5, that Jesus paid for our healing on the cross:
“Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
We minister healing in the name of Jesus from this shared foundation, serving local churches from all denominations and the wider body of Christ.
Our statement of faith can be summarised in three pillars: our confidence in the Bible, our worship of the Triune God, and our expectation that Jesus still saves, heals, and restores today.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and the final standard for what we teach and how we minister.
We confess Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man, the only Saviour and Lord, who died and rose again and will return for His Church.
We depend on the Holy Spirit, His gifts, and His presence to continue the healing ministry of Jesus in our generation.
We believe the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible Word of God, given by the Holy Spirit. Scripture is our final authority in all matters of faith, life, and ministry. Through the Bible God reveals His character, His purposes, and His way of salvation in Jesus Christ.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is the source of all, the Son is the eternal Word made flesh, and the Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. The three are co-equal in power and glory, worthy of our worship and obedience.
We believe God the Father is the Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. From Him and through Him and to Him are all things. In love He sent His Son into the world so that through Him we might be saved and restored to relationship with Himself.
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, proclaimed the kingdom of God, and demonstrated the Father’s heart through miracles, signs, and wonders. He died on the cross as our substitute, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and now reigns as Lord. He is the only way to the Father and the only name by which we must be saved.
We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus, convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and brings people to new birth. The Spirit lives in every believer, producing Christlike character and empowering us with spiritual gifts. We affirm the baptism and ongoing filling of the Holy Spirit, equipping the Church for worship, witness, and the works of Jesus, including healing and deliverance.
We believe all people are created in the image of God and designed for relationship with Him, yet through sin have fallen and become separated from His presence. We are unable to save ourselves. Salvation is a free gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection we are forgiven, made new, and adopted into God’s family.
We believe the universal Church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers in every nation and generation. Local congregations express this reality as communities of worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission. Healing Rooms ministries exist to serve and strengthen local churches, not to replace them, by coming alongside to minister the love and power of Jesus.
We believe physical, emotional, and spiritual healing flow from the finished work of Jesus on the cross. During His earthly ministry He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil, and we believe He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. While we recognise the reality of suffering and mystery, we boldly pray for the sick in obedience to Scripture, trusting God’s goodness and sovereignty in every outcome.
We believe God invites His people into partnership through prayer. In our Healing Rooms we create a safe, loving environment where trained teams listen to the Holy Spirit and pray according to God’s Word. All ministry is offered free of charge, in dependence on the Spirit, and in honour of the authority of Scripture and the leadership of local churches.
We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal kingdom in a renewed heaven and earth. Those who have trusted in Him will enjoy everlasting life in His presence, while those who reject Him will be eternally separated from God. This hope inspires us to live holy, compassionate, and mission-focused lives today.
In all these convictions we stand together with Healing Rooms Ministries around the world and with the wider body of Christ, joyfully confessing Jesus as Lord to the glory of God the Father.
